Lagoona House is a refined coastal retreat, designed to replace an existing dwelling while fully embracing the site’s orientation and angled block. The design challenged conventional planning constraints to maximise light, space, and functionality, all while maintaining understated coastal luxury.
At its center, the home opens to a large kitchen and living space, with a guest wing tucked privately to the rear and dual master suites positioned above. The island bench becomes the natural point of entry, positioned directly off wide sliding doors that replace the traditional front door. This arrangement blurs boundaries, inviting you straight inside and extending the kitchen outdoors.
Materiality is robust yet refined, combining coastal simplicity with timeless sophistication to create a home that feels both grounded and light. Equally suited to everyday life and long summer holidays, Lagoona House is a place to gather, unwind, and connect.
